Safeguard Visit

- Companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
- Ensure medications are stored and taken correctly.

- Create shopping lists if using the agency's errand services.

- Home safety inspection to identify and document fall hazards.

Safeguard Plus

- Comprehensive evaluation of the client's overall health and wellbeing.
- Monitor and record any changes or updates in the client's condition.
- Review and assess the quality of care provided by the personal caregiver.
- Provide professional advice and guidance to the caregiver to enhance care quality.
- Coordinate with the family and personal caregiver to address any concerns or issues.
- Offer recommendations for improving the home environment and care practices.

Companion Care

- The primary purpose of companionship care is to offer social interaction, emotional support, and a sense of companionship

Personal Care

- Personal care services include everything in Companion Care with a primary focus centered on assisting individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- The goal is to help individuals with tasks they may find challenging due to age, illness, or disability
- Typical ADLs include:
- Bathing and showering (including bed baths)
- Personal hygiene and grooming (including brushing teeth, combing & styling hair)
- Nail care (trimming / filing nails)
- Applying lotions and creams
- Incontinence care and toileting assistance
- Assist with transfers and mobility needs
- Feeding clients their food or helping them control eating utensils
Specialized Care

- Specialized care services cater to individuals with specific health conditions, chronic illnesses, or complex care needs

Medication Management
Starting @ $13.25 / weekly blister
- This is a Skilled Care service provided by our qualified doctors or nurses.
- We begin with a Drug Interaction Check: Ensuring that medication combinations are safe and spaced apart to minimize side effects.
- Weekly tamper-proof packaging ensures that medications are secure and protected from contamination or tampering, providing peace of mind for clients and their families.
- Organized and clearly labeled packages help clients adhere to their medication schedules, reducing the risk of missed or incorrect doses.
- Sorting and assembling medication packages in the client's home enhances their comfort with the service.

A house call fee is added to the following services UNLESS it is an add-on to a safeguard visit.
