Companion Care

Personal Care

  • Personal care services include everything in Companion Care with a primary focus centered on assisting individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • The goal is to help individuals with tasks they may find challenging due to age, illness, or disability
  • Typical ADLs include:
  • Bathing and showering (including bed baths)
  • Personal hygiene and grooming (including brushing teeth, combing & styling hair)
  • Nail care (trimming / filing nails)
  • Applying lotions and creams
  • Incontinence care and toileting assistance
  • Assist with transfers and mobility needs
  • Feeding clients their food or helping them control eating utensils

Specialized Care

  • This is a Skilled Care service provided by our qualified doctors or nurses.
  • We begin with a Drug Interaction Check: Ensuring that medication combinations are safe and spaced apart to minimize side effects.
  • Weekly tamper-proof packaging ensures that medications are secure and protected from contamination or tampering, providing peace of mind for clients and their families.
  • Organized and clearly labeled packages help clients adhere to their medication schedules, reducing the risk of missed or incorrect doses.
  • Sorting and assembling medication packages in the client's home enhances their comfort with the service.

Add Ons

A house call fee is added to the following services UNLESS it is an add-on to a safeguard visit.
